how it began
About Us
Named after 5-year-old Sonny, Sonny’s Removals was established in 2020. After building an excellent reputation as a single man and a van in the Sevenoaks area, we saw the opportunity to expand our family business.
Within a few months of creating Sonny’s we were inundated with requests to move entire homes all over Kent and the UK. Four additional vans later, and with a team of removers, packers and drivers we haven’t looked back since.

On the day, the team arrived bright and early in the morning, worked exceptionally quickly to pack and empty a one bedroom flat and were even flexible and kind enough to accommodate a pick up of a few items en route.
They worked so quickly to unload the van and navigated very tricky right corners and stairs to get all our belongings where they need to be!
Even with parking issues, the team never wavered in enthusiasm and their can-do attitude was infectious. They quickly problem solved and cracked on! It made the stressful process of moving a very smooth and enjoyable one.
Thank you so much for everything and honestly cannot recommend Sonny’s removal enough to anyone who is looking for a great family run business and impeccable service.

unloading was just as smooth as the pack and the guys were all really chatty and friendly even after they had been on the clock for over 12 hours!
All communication from Paige from start to finish was clear and the quote was considerably better value for money than any other company that I had in.

the guys were early, started shifting pretty much immediately and were so friendly and helpful.
They were all packed in good time and the second we were in the new property they were unloading and putting everything where it needed to go.

I had James helping me and he was brilliant. Arrived bang on time, helped loads with the loading and also made me feel very comfortable with making conversation on the way there and back.
